Maximum safety when hose clamping

Ergonomic

Fire Clamp is designed for the operator to perform the effort in the most symmetrical and ergonomic way possible. Performing traction with the arms “similar to a rowing machine” that allows a final work with a higher order muscle group such as the back.

This system significantly reduces muscle fatigue when clamping hoses.

The safe lid system, as well as the synchronization of the arms, allow, even an inexperienced operator or its use in compromised situations of visibility, humidity, temperature, pressure, etc. Withouth causing damage to the operator, so that clamping can be carried out with the maximum guarantees.

Fast

The secure lid is designed according to criteria to facilitate the introduction and removal of the hose from the device. The lid can be opened directly by pressing with the hose on its protrusion, provided for this purpose, or by pressing with the finger on its back.

The extraction of the hose once the clamping is finished is done simply by pressing the tool down or the hose up, the extraction is automatic.

Having two synchronized arms with their respective clamps, specially designed for flexible hoses shut off, allows a very large mechanical advantage at the same time as a very fast clamping of the hose, even at high pressures (up to 40bar / 600 psi ).

Easy

The tool can be carried in a custom-made bag, with the option of a shoulder strap, fastened to the belt or hung with a carabiner ring, to improve comfort.
The tool is designed to ensure its proper use under any circumstance:

  • Locked when the lid is opened, avoiding the risk of entrapment when inserting or removing the hose from the device.
  • Allow the hose to be clamped only if the lid is completely closed, preventing a possible projection of the hose during the shut off.

Reliable

The mechanical secure lid system prevents errors in possible compromised situations that may be encountered by the operator, mechanically guaranteeing that the shut off can only be carried out if the lid is closed correctly.

Self-lubricating bearings ensure optimal movement of the tool arms, improving mechanical operation, reducing weathering and extending shelf life.

Automatisms

for maximum firefighter safety

Automatic lock

Automatic locking when the lid is open, avoiding the risk of entrapment, when inserting or removing the hose from the device.

Synchronization

Tool arm synchronization system to prevent sudden movements of the tool or hose.

Water hammer

Prevents the “water hammer” by controlling the speed of clamping and releasing of the hose.

Safe lid

The secure lid system allows the hose to be clamped only if the lid is completely closed, preventing a possible projection of the hose during the shut off.
